Associate Project Accountant MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A.S. in Accounting or combined equivalent education and years of experience required.

2. B.A. preferred

3. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in general ledger, financial accounting, not-for-profit or government award funding, preferred.

4. Fluent in Spanish and English with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, preferred.

Technical Advisor, Infectious Diseases MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MPH or Master’s degree in directly relevant area required, MD strongly preferred.
At least 10 years’ experience in international infectious disease programs, including direct implementation of PEPFAR and BMGF funded Infectious Disease projects, with demonstrated experience as a resource for program monitoring in Infectious Diseases while focusing on community level programs where beneficiaries are linked to available health services and health education.
Experience in the area of behavior change leading to improved health outcomes in one of our key practice areas is expected. Familiarity with additional practice areas (RMNCH, Disaster Response, or NCDs) is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Infectious Disease programs in sub-Saharan Africa and other regions.
Experience in the design, evaluation, and technical oversight of Infectious Disease programs in developing countries.
Experience supporting multi-country Infectious Disease portfolios.
Interest and ability to engage in new business development initiatives to start and expand PH Infectious Disease programs.
At least two years living and working in an international setting (developing country preferred) or equivalent international experience. Experience in Africa preferred.
Fluency in English and excellent writing skills. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with country and HQ office staff to ensure quality and productivity.
Demonstrated ability to work with PEPFAR, USAID, and CDC programs as well as other donors.
Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written. Writing skills should include proposal and grant writing, memorandum of understandings and teaming agreements, routine program status documents, and activity reports.
Strong financial management skills and capabilities; strong analytical skills.

Regional Supply Chain Senior Officer Requirements:

Academic study in the field of Supply Chain Management, or alternative courses such as completion of the Certification in Humanitarian Supply Chain Management, or equivalent is desirable.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics management within the field of supply chain management including procurement, tendering, contracting, clearance, transport, and warehousing, as well as fleet management, asset management, and distribution support, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience responding to multiple, international rapid onset disasters and complex emergencies, leading logistics and supply chain management, including staff supervision and coordination of various teams and stakeholders.
  • Contributed or led multiple program startups in new countries of operation.
  • Experience with international freight forwarding, including INCOTERMs, import, export and customs clearance processes
  • Experience with donor specific procedures
  • Experience of logistics software solutions is desirable.
  • Ability to be a constructive team member in stressful, hardship and high-risk environments.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel internationally 35%-50% of time.
