REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• • Master’s degree in a business-relevant field.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible business operations, initiative, project, and program management, and team leadership experience with a proven professional record of establishing and maintaining operational excellence via process improvement and change management.
  • 8+ years of experience working on USAID-funded projects with additional federal contracting experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience promoting change management to guide various stakeholders through the growth and scaling of operations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects and programs in a Total-Time accounting context.
  • 5+ years of experience developing policies and guidance tools for different company functions, including financial management, USG compliance, procurement planning, etc.
  • Experience with Costpoint Deltek or comparable ERP system technology platforms and applications that optimize data visualization, such as Concur and Tableau.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• • MBA
  • 12+ years of experience in federal government contracting, 10 of which were with USAID contracting.
  • Fluency in Costpoint Deltek or comparable ERP system and demonstrated experience with technology platforms and applications (e.g., Concur, Tableau) that optimize finance & accounting and data visualization.
  • Experience building and scaling operational systems and processes to support high growth.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• • Bachelor’s degree in business, international development, economics, or a relevant field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in international development
  • 4+ years of experience in business development for USAID Experience in the full cycle of business development including pre-positioning, pipeline development, capture, and proposal management
  • 3+ years of experience developing and preparing cost proposals for USAID and other USG clients using MS Excel
  • 3+ years of experience of identifying and tracking Business Development opportunities for USAID and other USG clients
  • 3+ years of research associated with at least one of Resonance’s relevant technical areas – NRM, EG, MEL
  • 2+ years managing proposal teams
  • 2+ years of experience section writing for proposals and writing and editing capability statements for USAID or another USG client
  • Extensive network of industry contacts

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• • 2+ years of experience working on a CRM platform for Business Development needs
  • Experience leading or writing a USAID or other donor technical proposal,
  • Experience leading overall proposal process, including cost and technical volumes from start to finish
  • Experience with federal clients and donors, preferably USAID, DOS, MCC, DFAT, and DFID
  • Group facilitation experience
  • Familiarity with private sector engagement and public private partnerships
  • Technical experience in one or more of the following areas: private sector development, corporate sustainability, market systems, value and supply chain development, food security, financial inclusion, agriculture, trade and competitiveness, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, youth programming, finance and investment, or monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL).
  • Proficiency in a foreign language (Spanish, French, or Arabic preferred)

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• • Bachelor’s degree in global development, or related areas, such as: International Development, Political Science, Business Administration, International Studies, Sustainability, Economics, or related field
  • Work experience (including internships) from which to translate skills/foundational knowledge
  • 0-2 yrs of relevant international development, business development, administrative or corporate work experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Research experience in professional or school setting, with demonstrated ability to develop/deliver research projects
  • 0-2 years of experience effectively working on multiple projects, addressing ambiguous problems, and taking action to solve them.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and sensitivity skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• • Professional experience (including volunteer experience) working in a business or nonprofit environment **highly preferred: previous experience (or exposure to) supporting business development initiatives for USG clients
  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced writing skills
  • Previous experience on a proposal team
