Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital is a trust managed, autonomous, fee for services, not for profit multidisciplinary, private hospital, which was conceptualized by the esteemed family patriarch, late Padmashree Khelshankar Durlabhji with the Pink City at its heart. It is a spacious complex having good facilities. 29th November, 1971 was a milestone in the history of health care in Rajasthan. The hospital, the first in the private sector of the state, was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi. It started very simply with a bed strength of only eighty beds and six specialities. Now the bed strength has increased to 375 and many wards, operation theatres, ICUs, laboratories, utility services, specialities and super specialities have also been added.

- Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital :
Dr. ML Swarnkar established it as the first recognized private sector medical college and management institute in Rajasthan. Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, established in 2000. He (Dr. ML Swarnkar) is the founder director of Jaipur Fertility and Micro Surgery Research Centre (now a unit of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur) which is the first centre in Rajasthan and North India to deliver a baby by IVF and ICSI method (in 1989 and 1994 respectively). The teaching hospital of the institute with 730 beds provides affordable medical care in a patient friendly environment with a spirit of compassion for all. 250 beds are kept completely free of any charge for the poor and needy irrespective of caste, religion or economic status.
