Business Development Associate QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, business, economics or other relevant international development fields

Infrastructure Technical Advisor Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles overseeing an infrastructure portfolio, especially WASH and energy infrastructure.
  • Experience successfully working in and providing creative technical solutions for post-conflict and/or post-disaster environments is an asset.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and common practices.
  • Working knowledge of related disciplines including mechanical, structural, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience providing capacity building, mentoring and training using both remote and in-person approaches.
  • Deep understanding of broad range of engineering requirements and issues including their social, economic, and environmental impacts.
Capacity Building Assessment and Planning Consultant Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Relevant work experience, including experience with a Contractor or international NGO managing an office or program under USAID funding
  • Experience conducting similar assessments
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience working in complex, high-speed and challenging field operations in developing countries. At least two (2) years of this experience shall include managing these field operations
  • Experience with grant management, preferably in-kind and small grants
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in establishing systems and overseeing program start-up and closeout for USAID funded programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Must be innovative in problem-solving and resourceful in finding information
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across a multicultural, globally oriented team
  • Ability to travel to Pakistan
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
