Consultant, Global Oxygen Alliance Desired Qualifications:

  • An advanced university degree (Master’s level or above) in public health, public or business administration, public policy, international development, or related studies.

Desired Experience:

  • At least 15 years of experience at the national and international levels, in public health, business administration, development or related studies with a focus on developing strategies or project design for interventions in global health.
  • At least 2 years of work experience related to increasing access to medical oxygen in LMICs.
  • Proven experience in leading the development of strategy or strategic plans.
  • Prior experience working with UN agencies, international organizations or recognized humanitarian/NGO/CSO organizations, including at country level.
  • Experience in market shaping/market-based interventions, financial/budget analysis, supply chain, demand generation of health products, or health products analysis is desired.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or diagnostics industry is desired.
Senior Manager, Global Essential Medicines
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public health, business administration, or international development. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience (8 years) working in market shaping, supply chain management, or business development in LMICs, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and dynamics related to medical oxygen supply and distribution.
  • An ability to quickly understand new technology and complexities in its design, manufacturing, and usage is a must for this position. Also required is familiarity with commercial aspects of product development, including (but not limited to) formulating profitable business models, identifying and decreasing costs of goods sold, achieving greater economies of scale, maximizing returns on investment.
